The "Chrissy Alexander Band" is a top notch line-up of musicians out of Central and Western Washington. Last year, Chrissy gave us a taste of what dedication and a passion to perform is really about. She returned from Nashville November of 2007 with two of her first Nashville recordings in one hand, a fist full to finish in the other and a couple hundred more running through her head. The single “DRIVE” co-written by Gretchen Wilson, is proudly one for the ladies while “Bus To Baton Rouge” tells a promising story of it's own.
Upon Chrissy's return, her ambition to start her own band was next on the list. So she did what she does best and made some calls. Sending promo packets to every casino, club, honkey tonk, fair and rodeo scene in the state of Washington with the hope of pursuing her music and making a new family, her band. She presented the idea of performing the style of music she likes, Country and Rock n' Roll. "I don't claim to be a Country music artist or a Rock n' Roller. I just play what get's me in a good mood and if people like what they hear, that's all that matters".
The bands ability to "play well with others" is obvious when the lights go down and the music starts. Chrissy's power, range and non-stop energy will keep you on your toes while the fellas hit you blind-side with a sense of style like no other. Chrissy has opened for acts such as Chris LeDoux, Mark Chestnut and Blackhawk. She performs the National Anthem for our troops and travels wherever she is needed. No lack of experience here, just good times and creative music!
~We anticipate a great year ahead and hope you come along for the ride!
